Very true, but also needed today is the reminder that cancelling parents or family is akin to cancelling God. We don’t honor our father and mother because they deserve it, we honor them because God told us to. How we honor them will look different depending on circumstances, but it’s not about us or them, it’s about our desire to please our Heavenly Father.
